Counseling for Teens

Being a teenager can be hard. Teens are navigating school challenges, relationships with peers, exploring their identities, and can be experiencing challenges with mental health. I work with teens around a variety of topics, such as: anxiety, depression, self-harming, suicidal thoughts, self-esteem, exploring LGBTQQIA+ identities, and navigating relationships with parents, caregivers, and/or peers. I also work with teens in the foster care system or the juvenile justice system. I use a variety of creative approaches with teens to help them learn how to manage their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Additionally, for teens who have experienced trauma, I use EMDR.
